Clements/Parsons Elementary's Irma Lopez was nominated for Teacher of the Year in her first year as a Bulldawg, because of the fast impact she's made on students through her quality teaching focused on helping students succeed.
S.C. Lee Jr. High ESL teacher Pam Knutson was nominated for ESL Teacher of the Year in her second year in the role, because of the way she works to reach students and make sure they're supported, whether in her classroom or another.

Martin Walker Elementary principal Kelly Thompson received the Superintendent Coin of Excellence this week from Dr. Hawkins for exemplifying what it means to be a Bulldawg. When a parent recently ran into car trouble during dismissal, she helped that parent's students stay calm and helped jump start that parent's vehicle.

Last night, the Mount Hiram Masonic Lodge recognized three members of our Bulldawg family.
