Crossroads Graduation January 23, 2026

Crossroads Environmental Ambassador students are working with the City of Copperas Cove to promote recycling. They are currently collecting cardboard in their push to learn more about the benefits of recycling and saving the environment.

City of Copperas Cove provided the Crossroads Environmental Ambassadors with a pizza party today for all their hard work and their volunteering.

Crossroads High School held its 4th annual Turkey Bowl flag football game as a reward for its students on the final day before Christmas Break. This year, the game moved to Bulldawg Stadium and was a thriller!

Crossroads was invaded this week by Dash and Sparkle… our feral, overly dramatic elves who were kicked out of the North Pole by Santa and sent to Crossroads for “reform” … kept our staff BUSY this week.

They were supposed to stay quietly in the front office.
They did NOT.
There were questionable Elf parties, unapproved Christmas guests (Rudolph included), and dramatic escapes every time they were caught.
Staff members were sent on full-scale elf hunts as these two were discovered hiding under tables, behind fire extinguishers, and inside Christmas decorations.
They were Wild!

We even offered a reward (Gifts) for anyone who found them… and occasionally staff members took them on little “adventures” before finally returning them to Mrs. Leary. 😂

DAEP is absolutely where they belonged on the Naughty List...but thanks to our kind-hearted, patient, and good-humored staff, Dash and Sparkle were repeatedly rescued, returned, and kept (mostly) out of trouble.

After surviving this level of elf nonsense, our staff has more than earned this two-week break.
Rest. Relax. Recover.
And enjoy the peace… because Santa is coming to get these two. 😌

Early Release Day. Crossroads will release early on December 19th at 1:35 pm.

Friday December 19th -- Lot's going on! It's Pajama Day! We are all tired as the year comes to a close. Be sure all PJs are school appropriate.

Don't forget we also have our rescheduled Turkey Bowl football game at 9am on 12/19 and an early release at the end of the day.

Crossroads Staff and students showed their sparkle and shine on Wednesday. We were bright enough to lead the sleigh.

Dec 19 is Pajama Day and Turkey Bowl Football at Bulldawgs stadium, 9AM community is welcome to come support the Crossroads team and students. See you there.

Thursday December 18th is Ugly Sweater Day! The tackier the better! Dig out those ugly sweaters and have some fun.

Crossroads Environmental Youth Ambassadors volunteered at Fresh Fire CCI on December 16 to help fill care packages for homeless families/people in need in the community.
