Martin Walker Elementary principal Kelly Thompson received the Superintendent Coin of Excellence this week from Dr. Hawkins for exemplifying what it means to be a Bulldawg. When a parent recently ran into car trouble during dismissal, she helped that parent's students stay calm and helped jump start that parent's vehicle.

Last night, the Mount Hiram Masonic Lodge recognized three members of our Bulldawg family. CCHS seniors Lane Ledger and Presley Lowery earned scholarships from the lodge, while they recognized Fairview/Jewell Elementary 2nd-grade teacher Amanda Hawk as the lodge's CCISD Teacher of the Year.
