Month of the Military Child
Celebrating Our Military Children
Did You Know?

THERE ARE SIX BRANCHES OF THE U.S. MILITARY:
Each branch has its own active-duty and part-time components.
Each branch varies in service commitment, location, and how its members contribute to the overall mission of protecting our country.
All components are on the same rank-based pay scale.
The Army is the oldest branch of the military; the Space Force is the youngest.
The first women enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces around World War I.

Military children are resilient, brave, and serve alongside their families every day.
